Could I be more fascinated?
With what I've been rewarded
Such gifts were unimagined
That they could be attainable?
So sensational
This sense of sensual
What did I receive?
When given this blessing
When I reached the star and touched the fire
I saw a glimpse
I saw desire
And yet I wasn't burned?
Wasn't scarred
Wasn't scorned
Wasn't left overturned
Wasn't left with empty hands
The warmth did heal me of my burdens
While my afflictions were lost in those
Cleansing peaceful moments
They did save me, my atonements
I could not ask for more
I could not ask for anything
I could not speak
I could not think
I could not believe my chance could be
So fortunate
And I am grateful for this moment.
I am thankful for it all.
