I see poetry as a music of words. Poetry can be used to both enlighten and confuse the reader, but its most important goal is to make the reader feel. A poem is more than just a string of rhyming words. A poem carefully chooses words and places them in a dynamic setting to describe and emotion at a moment in time. My goal with any poem is to make the reader think and question the purpose behind the words. Poems are a way of understanding hidden thoughts, and it is through this thinking we will find the true meaning of be hind the words of the poem. My goal is to create verses that will allow the reader to temporarily see through into my mind instead of their own. It is my way of sharing my self with whoever wishes to read my thoughts.
